The JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu appoints Debarati Bose as Director of Sales and Marketing

The flagship property of JW Marriott Hotels in India welcomes the new Director of Sales and Marketing who possesses over 12 years of experience in the sales and marketing industry.

The JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Debarati Bose as the new Director of Sales and Marketing, effective as of July 2019. In her new capacity, Debarati will play a pivotal role in driving and overseeing all aspects of sales and marketing strategies, optimising the hotel’s revenue and market share.

Debarati Bose comes with a rich experience of over 12 years in the sales and marketing industry, a stickler for perfection and attention to detail, she has motivated her team at all times  to achieve targets and  has been responsible for business growth in her previous roles.

Prior to this, she has worked with reputed brands such as The Oberoi Group of Hotels & Resorts and started her journey as Sales Executive at The Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai in 2007. In 2010, she moved to The Oberoi, Bangalore and in 2012 she moved to Hyderabad as part of the pre-opening team of Trident, Hyderabad. Debarati went on to become the Director of Sales at Trident, Hyderabad in 2016 and was also the proud winner of the CEO Award as the Sales Leader there.

She joined the Marriott family in April 2017 at the JW Marriott Pune as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Debarati Bose has recently gained industry recognition at the prestigious ‘Stellier South Asia Awards’ as ‘Sales Hotelier of the Year South Asia 2019’. Having been an extremely organised person even in such a dynamic environment, persistence and unwavering focus have always been her key strengths.

Apart from her expertise in her field, she is an inquisitive explorer and highly enjoys travel and adventure.

Having being a part of the team at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu since the past 3 months, she will continue to add to the growth story of sales and marketing with her experience, conviction and innovation. She strongly believes the Marriott culture must trickle down to every last employee of the organisation irrespective of the seniority and those part of her team are certain to find a mentor, guide and an ardent friend in her.
